Lebendige Weine Switzerland & Liechtenstein

Shipping & Delivery

Translation of the German original; in the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.

How we deliver to Switzerland and Liechtenstein

All prices in the shop are in francs and include customs duty and all import charges. Shipping costs a flat CHF 15 and is free from 12 bottles or CHF 300. Nothing is due on delivery. We ship with DHL Express, customs cleared and taxes paid, to your door – you have nothing to settle with customs or with the courier.

Delivery time

The consignment usually leaves our warehouse in Germany within two working days of receipt of payment. With customs clearance and delivery, please allow three to five working days from the order. As soon as the consignment is on its way you receive an e-mail with the tracking link; in your customer account you can see the status at any time.

Handover

Wine is handed over in person – it is not left at the door and not handed to neighbours. The courier checks the recipient’s age (18 years). If nobody is there, DHL leaves a notification for a second delivery attempt or for collection. A telephone number given with the order helps to arrange the delivery date.

Packaging and weather

The bottles travel in certified wine cartons with shock-absorbing inserts; we bear the transport risk. In extreme heat or frost we briefly hold the shipment back so that the wine comes to no harm – we inform you by e-mail if that happens. Should a bottle arrive damaged in spite of everything, please contact us within three days with a photograph at ciao@lebendigeweine.ch; we will replace it or refund the purchase price.

Returns

You can return unopened bottles within 14 days of receipt. Write to us quoting your order number and we will agree the procedure – usually we refund without a return shipment. The details are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
