About this wine
Character
The Premsal Blanc des Cami de Felanitx 2025 is a dry white wine from the island of Mallorca, built entirely around the native Prensal grape. At 12.5% Vol. it stays lean, carried by freshness rather than fullness: lemon, green apple and white blossom lead, with dry herbs behind. A quiet, precisely built wine.
Terroir and origin
Mesquida Mora works out of Porreres, in southeastern Mallorca; the wine's name refers to the Cami de Felanitx. Bàrbara Mesquida Mora launched her own project in 2012, after running her great-grandfather's family estate. Today she farms 20 hectares biodynamically: all work follows the lunar calendar, with her own composts and medicinal plant preparations. Over 100 fruit trees have been planted to boost biodiversity.
Grape variety and vinification
Prensal, alongside Callet and Gorgollassa, is one of the native varieties at the heart of the estate; it is grown almost exclusively on Mallorca. In the cellar the wine ferments spontaneously with wild yeasts, slowly and without haste, with minimal sulfites and no fining. This keeps the variety true to itself.
On the palate
Lively acidity and a lean body, with grapefruit and pear. The finish stays saline and dry, without breadth.
Food pairings
With grilled fish such as sea bream or sea bass, with prawns and mussels. Also with paella, tapas with aioli, or a tomato salad with olive oil.
